REVIEW: Orbit Beers London Ivo

Orbit Beers London
Ivo Pale Ale

Orbit Beers
A mile or so from Oval tube station you’ll find Orbit Beers underneath another railway arch. You see South East London and railway arch and immediately think of the Bermondsey breweries but Orbit Beers London is based in largely unknown Walworth. It is a very new brewery having only been open for trade since last summer in July time. This is a brewery with goals, ambitions and a business plan. A plan for a taproom, more beers and an impressive van.

REVIEW: Beavertown Holy Cowbell

Beavertown Brewery
Holy Cowbell India Stout
5.6%
Tottenham, London, UK

Back in summer Beavertown, formerly based in Hackney moved to Tottenham to a larger unit to increase their output. They’ve also started distributing more cans of their beers around London and further afield. I’ve reviewed the Smog Rocket and Black Betty in can form recently on here. Let’s not forget that I called the 8 Ball Rye IPA one of the best beers ever created, or something too. So to say I’m a fan of Beavertown would be an understatement.

Camden Town

Imperial Brown Stout London 1856

Kernel Brewery
The Kernel Brewery is one of the reasons I’m now obsessed by craft beer. They put me on to a variety of beers and one of the first reviews I did on this blog was of their Amarillo IPA here. They make a huge, huge range of different beers and I’d fully recommend you go along to the beer mile and pop in the brewery to check out what they’re up to.

Brew By Numbers are based in Bermondsey on the infamous beer mile of craft breweries around south east London. They produce a range of amazing different beers from specialist pale ales to Witbier, Coffee Porter, Berliner Weisse and so many more. I visited the brewer last spring and was in awe of all the beers they had on offer.

I’ve tried a couple of beers by east London’s Redchurch Brewery and they’ve all been excellent. I’m a regular drinker of their pale ale as my favourite burger joint, Honest Burgers always stocks them. They have a great core range of beers and included in my London Ales by Mail order was the Hoxton Stout.
