Back in summer Beavertown, formerly based in Hackney moved to Tottenham to a larger unit to increase their output. They’ve also started distributing more cans of their beers around London and further afield. I’ve reviewed the Smog Rocket and Black Betty in can form recently on here. Fourpure Brewing Co. Session IPA 4.2% Bermondsey, London, UK
This time last year I visited the Independent Label Market which included lots of great breweries like FivePoints, Beavertown and at the time a not very well known Fourpure. At that time I sampled their PaleAle and IPA, which I reviewed back at the start of 2014 here. Since then Fourpure have moved on to become one of the biggest breweries in the UK. Fourpure Brewing Co. are a fairly new craft beer brewing company in the UK. They are based in Bermondsey alongside Partizan, Kernel and Brew By Numbers. The brewery was founded in 2013 by brothers Daniel and ThomasLowe. The name is inherited from the four main ingredients that are used to produce beer – grain, malt, hops and water. Continue reading →
